It was a typical day. I got up, made some coffee, and was scanning my email messages. I happened to look up and noticed a water stain forming on my ceiling. There was also a really bad odor and I knew it had to be a broken sewage pipe or toilet leak of some kind. They began with a detailed inspection of my home and did a water damage assessment and developed a plan to restore the water damage. Because this was a “black water” category of water, they had to take additional steps to safely remove the biohazardous water and contaminated building materials from my house. After the sewage leak was identified and repaired, they completed the drying, cleaning, and sanitization processes and supervised the replacement of the contaminated insulation and drywall in the ceiling.
